HIPs and landlords

Although landlords are not required to have a HIP when letting a property, since 1st October 2008 they have been legally required to have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) for that property. The Energy Performance Certificate rates a property's energy efficiency and carbon emissions from A to G, where A is very efficient and G is very inefficient.

If you are a landlord and would like Whitehead Monckton to organise for an Energy Performance Assessment to be carried out, please email or call us on 0800 158 3608.
